This picture was taken in my maternal grandma's home. Sitting in the front was my grandma.  Leaning against her is my cousin.  On grandma's left is me in my mom's arms. On grandma's right is my aunt from Haicheng, with my cousin in her arms.  Standing behind my mom was my father.  On his right were my second uncle and third uncle.

找到这张摄于一九四一年的老照片时，那感觉就象是看到久别的，失踪了的亲人，心里实在高兴的紧。照片上有爸爸、妈妈和我，有外婆、有三舅、海澄姨母、表弟云鹏、大表姐亚滨，特别有二舅。这是我所知的唯一有二舅在一起的合照。后来，二舅去了台湾，再后来，他去世了。我们都不敢让外婆知道这件事。实际上，在那个年代，我们不敢让外人知道我们有个至亲在台湾，也不敢和台湾的亲人联系。照片前方的这个石条阶我复制照片时特地留了下来，因为那也是记忆中的不可分割的一部分。小时候我曾在那石条阶上躺过呢。其实，外婆家的一切，应该是所有小孩童年记忆中最珍贵的一部分。
