We spent this past weekend (last days of April) at the beach, staying at WorldMark Resort at Depoe Bay for two nights.  We did what we usually do at the beach: fishing, crabbing and mussel picking.  The weather was neither hot nor cold, and it was not raining.  The catch was not much, compared with the joy--a joy that is the signature of vacationing with family and young children.  A joy that will be treasured in my heart for a long time.  Life is good.

四月底的这个周末我们一家子去了海边，在度假村里住了两夜。我们照样去讨海：钓鱼、捞螃蟹、捡贻贝。天气出奇地好，不冷不热也没有下雨。捕获不是太多，但乐在其中--当你和家人在一起，又有小孩子在旁边。那种快乐，那种舒服的感觉，只有身在其中才可意会。生命是美丽的。
