These are the family moments--the happy moments to record, the treasurable moments to remember. Seeing and feeling the grandchildren-- the babies--and holding them tight, the emotion and the pleasure run high, beyond words. Grandchildren are so wonderful, because they make us feel young, again, at heart. Grandparents are so great, because they are who bond us together--not just in blood, but in love. We appreciate the sacrifice and dedication of our parents only when we ourselves have become parents. When they grow up and see these photos, the babies here may not remember the moments recorded here, but they will know for sure that in September 2012, their grandparents came from afar, for a visit, to see them, to be with them, and to bid goodbye to them, in tears.

The pictures on this page were all taken by Wei and Maki during Maki's parents' two weeks' visit, at home, in the park, and at the beach, from Washington to Oregon states.

这是家庭团聚的时刻，是珍贵的欢乐时刻。看到他们，摸着他们，抱紧他们--小孙儿孙女们--幸福和激情就在其中。有孙儿孙女多好。他们让我们拾回一颗年轻的心。有爷爷奶奶，或外公外婆多好。是他们把三代人连在一起--用无私的爱，用比水浓的血。年轻人只有在自己当了父母时，才体会到养儿之不易，才体会到父母的大恩。当这几张照片里的小宝贝长大时，他们可能不记得这牛年马月发生过的事。但照片会说话：在2012年9月，外公外婆曾经从老远的地方来看他们，跟他们相聚了两个星期，然后在泪水中跟他们告别。
