These
days Li-qing and I spent a lot of time in Vancouver, WA, where our younger
son, daughter-in-law, and their two babies live. We are there
to perform the duties of grandparents for their grandkids. That
certainly is a new life, and I am driving almost every week on I-5,
heading wind or snow, aided by my GPS. But it is supposed to be
summer (or summer time) now, and colors are beginning to show up.
Besides, we re-live the joy of caring for small children, watching the
two-year-old Sage huddling with his toy cars, and the four-month-old
Misa stare and smile at you.
