The first two rows of (six) pictures, and the one on top, are an important milestone to our 5-year-old grandson, Caleb, who went to his first day at kindergarten. He held on tight to his 8-year-old brother, Kevin, as if imploring him not to leave him to the strangers. But, eventually, he is happy, and he indeed is in good hands. 

The rest of the pictures show other members of the family, of our grandson, Sage, almost 3, and of our grand-daughter, Misa, ten months. And of our son Hong, who has become an adroit fisherman and is able to provide us with fresh salmon and tuna from time to time. Nature has also provided plentiful, in the form of fallen pears and apples in our neighborhood.

这一页的其他照片，拍的是家里的其他人。有将近三岁的星词和十个月的雨诗，还有我们的已经成为钓鱼好手的大儿子庄宏。他会不时地出海钓大鱼给我们。这些馈赠，都来自大自然，就如街区里没有人要的满地水果。
