This long weekend of Memorial Day, we went with our elder son and family to our beach house. Inside his car, I had a good look at his fancy fishing poles. They were certainly way way better than my home-made bamboo poles in my days. Now his catch of salmon could weigh over 30 pounds while I never caught anything bigger than half a pound. However, our hobby grows in the family, and our joy is inter-generational. Our younger son and his family also spent the holiday weekend camping on their RV.
My Bro and Sis in hometown Shima, on the other hand, spent their days and nights caring for our aging mother, who is 101 years old by lunar calender. (By lunar calendar, a new-born was one year old the moment he/she was born.).
