In my hometown of Shima, there are too many smokers, and they smoke everywhere. Many of them also drink a lot. In the small alley of my family home, three neighbors have died at an early age because of alcohol abuse. It doesn't make sense at all, but in a developing country, cigarettes and alcohol bottles often serve as a way of connection, or communication, as well as a symbol of social status. These people are unwittingly killing themselves and ruining their families and society.

在我的家乡石码，吸烟人太多了，而且他们到处吸。他们当中的很多人还酗酒。我老家的左邻右舍就有三个人死于酗酒。抽烟酗酒既花钱还损害健康，不知道他们为什么不改。一个原因可能是为了社交和办事。烟酒开路本是发展中国家的社会弊病。另一个原因是沾上劣习后不能自拔改不了。

这一页的吸烟人照片随意而拍，都很自然。他们年龄、身份、服饰有别，或许可当当前石码人和环境的拍照存证。
