kindergarten graduates 恺恩幼儿园毕业

In our times, we went to school and we graduated, without any celebration. For our grandson Kevin (in yellow shirt on the front row), today (5-26-2009) he is celebrating his kindergarten graduation, attended by all his little classmates, and hundred of parents and grandparents. He will become a first grader this fall, and we, his parents and grandparents, will sure accompany him every step of the way, every graduation, in the years to come, for real or for fun.

我们这代人读书时是没有毕业典礼的。到了孙儿庄恺恩(上图前排穿黄衣者)，他今天幼儿园毕业，就已经有"毕业典礼"了。今年秋天，他将就读小学一年级。他还将有许许多多货真价实的毕业典礼等着我们去参加呢。

A graduation from kindergarten is more for fun than for real, but parents and grandparents swarm the gym with all fanfare and enthusiasm.		幼儿园毕业大概不必太用功，但典礼还是费了一番功夫。小毕业生们自制了自己的毕业帽，家长们也提早一个小时来到现场。

Kevin and his classmate Chy, alongside with all others, get their turns to hear their names read and their diplomats handed.		和大家一样，恺恩和他的同学叶崎(Chy Yeh)也听到老师呼喊他们的名字去领取毕业证书。




More excitement and activity follow the ceremony. 2-year-old Caleb gets to post and plays with his two 5-year-old graduate brothers.		毕业典礼后，二岁的小恺乐得以和他的两个五岁的毕业生哥哥合影留念。
